  2. That is the coolest dress I have ever seen. Does it come in adult sizes?

  3. Мартуся вже така велика, справжня красуня, схожа на своїх тата та маму! Вітаю вас із цим прекрасним святом! Нехай росте здорова, щасли ва та радісна!

  4. Hello Veronica:
I'm Peruvian living in Lima, and I'm one of translators from English to Spanish at the Global Voices website.
I've worked on the Spanish translations of some of your articles, such as "Chewing gum in the Soviet Union".
Let me tell you, your girl is beautiful.
    Keep on posting!

  7. My God, she is a dark eyed beauty! Beautiful! Happy Bday Marta!

(I did not realize that Joseph Conrad was also born on Marta's Bday.)

May the only salt she ever tastes in her lifetime, is that which she adds to her food and never the saltiness of her own tears. Wish her oodles and tons of happiness, joy and laughter!
    :)

  9. Dyakuyu!

    Hvala!

As for Joseph Conrad, Wikipedia says he was born Dec. 3 - while Marta is a Dec. 1 girl...

    :)

But - one of Marta's maternal great-grandmothers and one of her paternal great-grandfathers hailed from around the area where Conrad was born.

Funny, but my mother has definitely inherited his fascination with the sea and his taste for adventure. Somehow.

    :)))
