Petya Bumper, yet another mock presidential candidate (in Ukrainian, with lots of beeps to cover the cursing):
He says it all, or most of it. Maybe it's just me, but I really don't understand why anyone would need any kind of serious commentary on Ukrainian politics ever again after this.
Happy holidays to you all!
Let me suggest to you that now, more than ever, is the time to gather one's wits in Ukraine, and figure out some serious commentary on Ukrainian politics.
ReplyDeleteI'll put it to you this way - I belong to a small charitable group. We obtained a very generous donation from Walmart of school supplies - paper, pencils, pens, crayons, notebooks, on and on - and sent it to Ukraine to a school. Why? Because we found out from the relative of one of our members that there were no school supplies for the kids.
When we asked what else they needed, we got an entire huge wish list - for the entire school! Why?
Because there was no way for the kids to get school supplies.
Why?
Think about that, and think about why it's important who the President is in Ukraine.

ReplyDeleteHow pathetic. Thank you for this very good illustration of what Petya Bumper's been cursing about. Ukraine's politicians aren't capable of providing for the most basic needs of the people. Kleptocrats who've turned Ukraine into a nation of beggars - into a ghetto. Суки.
