Apples are everywhere here; I make tons of apple juice a day, and we drink it all. Nothing else to report - and I kind of like it.

  1. Yeah, the same thing here in Moscow. I guess it's due to the remarkably hot summer we've had. People are collecting baskets and baskets of apples at the dacha and others are propping the tree limbs up to support the weight of such a harvest.

  2. Terrible year here for fruit. No blackberries in the hedges, apples are small and bitter, raspberries, strawberries - nichego.

    Although I did manage to grow my first melons on the uchastok. I'm pretty pleased with that!
