  1. Happy New Year Neeka! I hope it's not too late for me to wish new year for you! I was browsing through some of my old blog entries when I found back your link.

Hope you still remember me, the used-to-be bubbly English medstudent from Simferopol :)

Say hi to your cute daughter!

Please replace the link for Balkan-Scissors with the link Red Pen
    http://redpen-seesaw.blogspot.com/
that's where I am writing (in English only) about Balkan now. The other name was taken by someone else.
    Thank you!

  3. I was in Moscow over New Years - two days of light snow/frost followed my warmth, mud, and filth. If I was still in Moscow, I'd be a bit depressed, too :-)

  4. Hah! Us Sakahlin Islanders laugh loudly at the misery of the Muscovites! Us provincials will have the last laugh yet (once they get a McDonalds open, and some decent shops, and fix the water, oh and start selling fresh food, and a proper cinema would be nice, plus a decent broadband service, and I can't find a tin of Kiwi shoe polish anywhere....)
